Must have access to reliable transportation or a means of getting to work as it is a remote location.   Company: Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc. 1991 has operated as a solely family-owned venture for over 50 years and has been providing high-quality potatoes across Ontario. O.P.D.I. now offers a wide range of services including: Potato packing and storage Logistics and transport Offloading services Quality assurance   Position Overview: Data entry, filing, answering phone calls and emails Reception coverage Assist members of the dispatch/office team with adhoc clerical duties Assisting accounts payable/receivable as needed   Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude with good people skills Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with an ability to learn new software quickly   What we offer: $15.55/hour Paid breaks Mentorship   Company Commitment: Ontario Potato Dist. O.P.D.I. now offers a wide range of services including: Potato packing and storage Logistics and transport Offloading services Quality assurance   Position Overview: General labour offloading and building/separating pallets Re-lumping pallets, unloading containers, sweeping, cutting plastic off pallets, collecting garbage on the floor/garbage bins, and disposing Responsible for ensuring that the dock floor is kept clean and free of debris. Ensure that all plastic, ties, strapping, cardboard is off the floor and not hanging from pallets Advise Supervisor of non-conformities e.g. pests, leaks, damaged product/packing, tipping loads, etc. Working on the potato packing line Grass cutting and ensuring exterior property is free of garbage/debris   Required Skills: Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as some moderate lifting is required Candidate must be punctual and flexible to work on Saturdays/holidays if required Candidate must have CSA-approved steel toe safety footwear   What we offer: $15.55/hour Paid breaks   Company Commitment: Ontario Potato Dist.
