General Laborer Sport Court Ontario - Full time permanent days laborer position for Sport Court Ontario .  We build outdoor and indoor game courts for basketball, tennis, pickle ball, hockey, and multi sport usage.  In the winter months we build outdoor hockey rink systems.  Duties and skills required include but not limited to digging, wheelbarrowing, raking, using basic small handheld tools such as hammers, saws and. drills.  Also includes carrying of heavy materials , building of fencing, installing of basketball systems, lights and installing Sport Court surfacing and line painting.  Seasonal hours, must be able to meet crew members at our Utopia warehouse in early morning hours to load up (not on a bus route) and transportation to job sites is provided.  Overtime paid earned. Drivers license and in good physical health.  Able to carry 70lbs. Previous construction or landscaping experience is an asset along with basic communication  and math skills.  Health Benefit package availably after 3 months of FT employment. 

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilities will include the correct loading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. The Delivery Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.   Start Date: Between April 1 - April 15

As a Climbing Arborist with Davey Tree; you will be in the field and up in the canopy most of your day with a hands-on approach to tree and vegetation management. You will deal directly with the public and will draw on your expert knowledge and experience to ensure the job is done right and on time.   Job Duties Perform work in the canopy of the trees at various heights. Operate as an active crew member with support from the ground crew and crew leader. Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients. Pruning, thinning, and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy. Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systems. Removal of hazardous trees. Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more. Assist the trimmers and foreperson in job site setup, debris removal and cleanup. Abide by Davey and industry safety policies and procedures.

Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings Install sheet metal flashings Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs

Inspect clients’ roofs and prepare them for the Troff installation process Use hand and power tools to prepare Truff  and the pieces needed to hang them for installation Install Troff’s on our clients’ roofs Complete other roofing projects related to sheet metal Complete gutter maintenance and repair tasks
