Banquet Sous Chef Description: To be in charge of the overall operation of the kitchen with focus on specific area as assigned.  Uphold and abide by the policy and procedures of the Nottawasaga Inn. Hours: Approximately 44 hours per week. Includes weekends and holidays. Requirements: Candidates must have completed a recognized culinary program at a secondary college or university and have the Canadian Inter-provincial Red Seal or equivalent recognized in Canada. Previous experience in a similar environment with a minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience required.

Flood and maintain meticulous ice as scheduled.Participate in keeping all areas of the facility neat and tidy as well as safe at all times.Ensure all entrances are kept clear and safe of all debris and snow. Monitor the ice arena regularly. Requirements/Specialized Skills 2 years minimum previous training and operation of ice resurfacing equipment a must. Working knowledge of ice making and ice maintenance. Established attention to detail. Willingness to learn and teach new skills. Ability to accept and evaluate criticism on ice conditions. Demonstrated ability to be a team player. Ability to lift heavy objects of over 50 pounds. Good communication skills. Basic Computer knowledge an asset. Mechanical aptitude an asset. Hours: 10 - 15 in the Summer and 15 - 30 in the Fall/Winter.

Shifts will include Monday-Friday, 11am-8.00pm or 2:30pm-11:00p.m, Saturdays & Sundays 8am-5pm or 4:30pm-2:00am. Shifts will rotate each week; you must be able to work weekends and holidays.
