Be aware and alert of patron safety at all times. Understand emergency procedures and carry through appropriate actions. Be visible to patrons at all times and in full uniform {one piece bathing suit, whistle, guard shirt} while on duty. Ensure scanning coverage of the pool at all times while on duty. Be well informed of the Aquatic programs and lesson information relaying it to guests and members as required. Communicate any problems or concerns to the Aquatic Supervisor immediately and follow up any concerns and problems. Perform and document ALL opening and closing duties on the Daily Pool Report. Be a positive role model to guests, members, and fellow co-workers by following all rules and regulations of the Aquatics Centre while in the facility - on and off duty. Keep the pool deck clean, including the buoy line, equipment room, slide etc. Work together as a team to provide a positive and professional, safe environment for the guests and members. Read, understand and follow all procedures stated in the Staff Manual. Qualifications: Current N.L.S, First Aid, CPR Hours: Monday through Friday morning/day time hours to guard Aquafit classes. May be needed on weekends/holidays.

Description: The Camp Counsellor will plan, lead and facilitate programs and activities at the Nottawasaga Activity Club including, child & youth programs, day camps and convention recreation events. The role of the Camp Counselor is to provide exceptional recreation experiences to all patrons, club members, hotel and convention guests and community members. Hours: 40 hours a week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, ranging between 7:00am and 7:00pm. Occasional weekends as necessary. Requirements: “High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development certification”, Current CPR, Basic Rescuer and Standard First Aid are mandatory. Excellent communication, customer service and program leadership skills are required along with experience in delivering recreation programs.
