What is CLASS? The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) provides services and supports to people with a developmental disability to enable them to live with dignity, maximize their potential for personal growth, and participate in all elements of living in the community. We strive to participate in our communities through employment opportunities, links to education and training as well as support for local events.   The Position: Our current opportunities are for full time, part time and casual support workers with flexible week day, evening and weekend availability.   Responsibilities of the position include: Provide support to people with developmental disabilities with a person directed approach Assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, personal hygiene care, etc. Develop and maintain positive relationships with people supported, professional services, and families Implement and follow behavioural support plans Work independently and in team environments

The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) provides services and supports to people with a developmental disability to enable them to live with dignity, maximize their potential for personal growth, and participate in all elements of living in the community. CLASS has Summer Contract Support Worker vacancies and will accept applications for people wishing to work in a group home setting. Please note that week day, evenings and weekend availability is required.  Must be 18 - 30 years of age.  Contract begins May 1, 2019 to August 31, 2019. We provide services in the South Simcoe County area (Alliston/Bradford & Everett).  Our vision is to be the model community living association in Ontario. CLASS has partnered with over 50 agencies and government services in providing support to Individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities.
