Contract - Full Time PROCESSING/MANUFACTURING/UTILITIES

Job Description

Candidate to perform light, industrial assembly processes for automotive windows with a maximum individual lifting weight of 15lbs./6 kg, while standing on anti-fatigue matting for an 8-hour shift, with two 10 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch break. All associates are assigned a different job process in their rotation every two (2) hours. Associates are first trained to perform four different assembly processes and gradually learn various additional job processes. Associates to utilize hand tools/jigs to apply rubber edging and moldings, apply primer, clips, holders, etc. on various models and types of automotive windows. Assembly job processes provide work within shoulder to waist range in front of body, work on height-adjustable tables, some processes are along a belt-style assembly line, with processes laid out to limit walking/moving (max. 5 ft. radius). Lift assists are utilized for loading rear windows and front windshields to assembly process areas, while loading rear windows to “shipping carts” is done with two associates, and loading front windshields to “shipping carts” is done by lift assist. All necessary PPE is provided.  Associates are working with front windshields, rear windows, front and rear door windows, and small door quarter windows.  Shift work with premiums available and pay increases after 3 months. 

Skills Required

Experience is required and candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma or be willing to participate in equivalency testing onsite. Looking for reliable candidates with the ability to adapt on the job to provide opportunity for growth.
