Contract -Part Time SOCIAL/EDUCATION/GOVERNMENT

Job Description

 

  • Repair & Maintenance duties including but not limited to: painting, drywall installation and repair, minor carpentry, carpet and ceramic tile installations, product assembly, home renovations and minor plumbing
  • Residential installation and assembly of items such as blinds, screen doors, ceiling fans, gazebos etc.
  • On-going communication with Property Manager using computer, cell phone and other relevant technology
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and achieve results
  • Perform other related duties as required

Skills Required

Requirements:

  • Three years minimum of handyman or general maintenance experience
  • Must be able to read and understand product assembly instructions
  • Must maintain good work habits and arrive to scheduled jobs on time
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have high school diploma and basic computer skills
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
  • Must be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle feel or operate objects, tools or controls
  • Must have knowledge and experience of the safe handling and operation of power tools
  • Must be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks and be able to lift up to 45 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday
