Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Corporate Services Manager, the Administrative Assistant prepares, keys in, edits and proofreads correspondence, minutes, reports and related material. She/he greets visitors, establishes nature of business and directs visitors to applicable area or person. She/he answers telephone enquiries/calls and relays messages. She/he provides resolution to client’s inquiries and complaints. She/he receives and processes payments for newspaper programs.

College diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, Accounting or related field AND some years experience in Office Administration or in a related field.
High school diploma AND several years experience in Office Administration.
Language requirement: English Essential, Bilingual an asset
French Language Proficiency (Bilingual an asset)
Reading Comprehension
Written expression
Oral interaction
In the event that the successful candidate does not meet the linguistic profile, the candidate will be required to undertake second language training.
Level: N/A(No proficiency), 1(Basic), 2(Functional), 3(Advanced), 4(Professional)

Experience Requirements:
 In office administration
 In maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
 In data entry, data manipulation, record-keeping and retrieval techniques
 In drafting correspondence and reports
 In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail and internet browsing
