Job Description

Work in a long term residential setting for youth  with brain based disabilities using a strength based approach.  Working with youths and building their strengths with  life skills, hygiene and daily living routines.  Assisting in school with the onsite section 23 school.  

Staff work shift work; days, afternoons, awake overnights and weekends. Applicants are required to have a criminal reference check with a vulnerable sector, medical with Hep B and TB,  CAS  record of disclosure check, valid drivers license and a vehicle

Skills Required

Patience, outgoing and a willing to participate in recreation activities with the youth.  Report logs at the end of the shift.  Occasionally physical intervention is used

Drivers Licence, Ability To Travel, Access to a Vehicle, Certificates / Designations
