Job Description

Your start date to May 31, 2018, you will work from the Company’s Vaughan, Ontario, location. Effective June 1st, 2018, Roadwarrior will be relocating to 3280 Thomas Street, Innisfil, Ontario. Travel allowance will be provided, up to the move date.


We are a fast-paced, highly motivated team of individuals, looking for an Inside Territory Sales Representative (with 20-25% business travel to the United States) with a proven track record of success and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing business within the US Central/Great Lakes

Territory. This position plays a crucial role in cultivating new relationships with potential clients, maintains relationships with existing clients, and is an integral part of the sales team.



  • Prospects for new customers by networking, targeted cold calling, on-site customer meetings or other means of generating interest from potential customers
  • Qualifies leads into potential customers and successfully closes new business
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals
  • Builds and nurtures relationships with potential and existing customers
  • Responds to inquiries, requests for information and/or quotations, providing excellent, friendly customer service to potential and existing customers
  • Prepare presentations, sales quotations, and plan business trips as required
  • In support of the customer service staff, occasional order entry & process order confirmations
  • Networks extensively within assigned Territory and is actively involved in relevant events in effort to build relationships, keep current with trends, and uncover opportunities that lead to sales prospects
  • Explores and takes advantage of network-wide business development opportunities, and attends marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and industry or customer events as required
  • Communicate new sales opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback to management*

Skills Required


  • 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience, similar industry preferred
  • College or University Degree in business administration, or a related field
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States , approximately every 4-6 weeks ( % 20-25%) of the time
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, developing business and closing deals
  • Strong networking and persuasive selling skills
  • Highly motivated ‘self-starter’ with a strong work ethic
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as listening skills
  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and contact management software
  • French or Spanish speaking an asset

Wage / Salary

TBD, Commission and Bonus, for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits
