Job Description


  • Recruit and arrange host locations and facilitate agreements with MALL hosts.
  • Arrange class sessions and schedules with host agencies and clients.
  • Transport, set up mobile lab and teardown mobile lab at host locations.
  • Ensure all equipment is connected correctly and working optimally.
  • Develop all program registration packages and client information packages.
  • Register clients and deliver computer‐assisted computer skills training to all clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate ongoing progress of each client and provide feedback.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of manuals and supplies for all MALL sessions.
  • Provide certificates to clients upon successful completion of a course.
  • Develop and administer and collect evaluation surveys to all clients and host agencies.
  • Evaluate class sessions and make program modification recommendations as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and progress for all clients.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, data input, and data reporting to Executive Director.
  • Complete appropriate back‐ups of data systems as required.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good operating condition and is stored securely at the host agency site.
  • Coordinate technical and troubleshooting issues with appropriate LCYS staff.

Skills Required


  • Knowledge and experience in adult education and training adults
  • Demonstrated experience teaching computer skills to adults and facilitating groups.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management.
  • Excellent skills in working independently, taking initiative and working with a team.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in operating a computer‐based training systems and servers.
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows 7 and 10, MS Office, Internet, Outlook, Access)
  • Experience using MS Access database to collect data and develop reports.
  • Experience with compiling and reporting statistics, writing reports and developing manual


  • Post‐secondary education in adult education or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Valid Driver’s License and regular use of a reliable vehicle to transport MALL equipment
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs. of weight into and out of a vehicle.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Current clearance from a criminal records check.
