Receptionist & Office Support

(Casual Opportunity, September – December 2018)  

HJV Equipment is a growing agricultural equipment distributor, in business for over 25 years. Our vision is twofold and integrated: to become the premier specialized agricultural equipment distributor in the world, and to successfully train and develop our employees; enhancing their lives by providing them a rewarding and challenging work environment.

 

The position is casual, working a minimum of 12 hours per week to provide reception back-up support. This is a four-month term, with the potential of being extended into the new year.

Responsibilities:

  • Reception – welcoming and greeting our walk-in customers, vendors and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, answering and directing phones promptly, providing excellent customer service. Handles inquiries and directs to appropriate persons.
  • Office support (sorts and distributes mail, faxes, files and scans documents, maintains office supplies and other general duties as required)

  Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be professional, enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong follow through skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Resourceful and pro-active
  • Solid computer skills, proficient with Microsoft (Outlook/Word)
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position
