Job Description

Turn Key Staffing is looking for Lamination Machine Operators that are responsible for operating a lamination machine at budgeted scrap and production numbers while ensuring that safety and quality policies and procedures are followed, as well as ensuring production meets the company service, targeted goals and cost objectives.

Skills Required

Hours: Rotating Shift Work (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm), Monday 7am – Friday 11:00PM Responsibilities: • Reads production schedule to determine priorities. • Reads and understands job information folders and the blueprints for slitting layouts. • Selects, cleans, and installs spacers, and shears/blades on shafts. • Lifts large rolls by mobile lifter or hoist, and positions and secures on machine. • Threads end of material from reel through slitter and secures ends on rewind. • Sets starting tensions and lay-on roller pressure/size/weight. • Starts machine, verifies tensions, and monitors operation and quality of rolls. • Runs the machine at efficient speeds while maintaining quality. • Observes machine operation and examines slit samples and rolls for dimensions, profile, print and lamination quality, and inspects for any defects. • Co-ordinates and directs machine assistant/s to maintain or improve efficiency. • Regularly inspects machine for performance and preforms basic preventative maintenance, such as lubricating and cleaning machine. • Record various information on reports including production, quality control, and product safety. • Follow various rules and regulations relating to safety, production, quality, and product safety. • Maintains a clean work area within food and pharmaceutical grade standards Job Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1 year of machine operation experience • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions • Good organizational skills. • Understanding of assembly process and production quotas
• Requires standing and sitting *Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion • Moderate noise level • Ability to work in hot/humid or cold environments
