Project Administrator (Quality Assurance – New Model)

F & P Mfg., Inc., offers an exciting and rewarding career opportunity in a fast paced, highly automated, state-of-the-art automotive parts manufacturing facility located in Tottenham, located 40 minutes north of the Toronto airport.

F & P Mfg., Inc., is a tier one automotive parts supplier producing suspension components and pedal assemblies for Honda. We are a complete manufacturing facility and have been stamping, welding, painting and assembling parts for 30 years. We have 900 associates working at our 2 on site manufacturing plants.

Position Summary:  Administer New Model Projects

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Main customer contact for ew model projects
  • Administer new model quotation process
  • Administer new model drawing control process
  • Facilitate project management team meetings
  • Facilitate project phase gate evaluations
  • Coordinate trial events
  • Control new model trial event part inventory

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Experience with project administration , from conception to completion
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flow charts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with risk management
  • Familiarity with metal forming and welding processes and how they interact
  • Understanding of IATF16949 and APQP would be an asset
  • Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Work and Power Point would be an asset.
