Job Summary: Under the supervision of the General Manager, the incumbent will greet customers, prepare and serve mixed drinks, wine, draft, or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages, as required; take customers' orders; serve customers at counter, as required; prepare food, as required; portion and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package takeout food; stock refrigerators and refill beverage machine; collect payment for beverage and food items and record sales; clean bar and eating area and wash dishes; replenish condiments and other supplies; secure building at closing; prepare bank deposits and cash floats, as required; ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations; assist with set-up and take down of functions, as required; perform general housekeeping duties such as sweep, vacuum and spot mop following functions, as required; etc.
High school diploma AND some bartender experience
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience will also be considered
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario
Must possess a Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
Language requirement: English Essential, Bilingual an asset

Salary: $14.21/hr - $17.43/hr (salary under review – starting rate is $14.21/hr)
