Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) is an organization that supports people with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential as active members of their communities. We have over two hundred and fifty employees that support youth and adults to live, work and play in various types of residential and community participation programs. CLASS Senior Support staff will have completed a bachelor’s degree or a two-year college diploma in developmental services or a related field of human services. The current vacancy is for a Permanent Full Time Senior Support Worker whose role is to function as the team lead in residential accommodations. This person will have responsibility to maintain computer records, organize resources and ensure CLASS policies as well as Ministry Quality Assurance Regulations are followed. Staff are required to have a valid Ontario G2 or G drivers license and three years experience working with people with a diagnosis of developmental disability. Weekday and weekend shift availability is also a requirement. Preference will be given to staff who have training in applied behaviour analysis, dual diagnosis and/ or neurodevelopmental disorders.
