These responsibilities will include: Leadership and participation of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Track APQP and adhere to using planned milestones Ensure criteria is met through Government Approval reviews Lead problem solving for customer quality concerns Coordinate and participate in Internal/Supplier Drawing Reviews/ Drawing approval processes Manage Control Plans, Assembly Fixture Instructions and participate in Process Failure More Effects Analysis Early Supplier Involvement with Design and Planning Review Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing requirements Insure lessons learned are implemented in new model launch Complete customized AQE documents as required Work with suppliers to insure suppliers PPAP package and components meet specifications and visit suppliers as required Insure DVP&R testing is complete and develop annual validation plan for designated programs Ensure all health and safety rules and regulations are followed and respond immediately to jazards, defects or non-compliance issues What we require: Understanding of all processes used to create core products Completion of community college diploma.certificate or > 5 years of work related experience Completion of post-secondary education program in Mechanical Quality Engineering ASQC Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred Teir 1 automotive experience preferred Automation Technician, pay based on experience, Penetanguishene Ontario What you will be doing: perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems; establish monitoring parameters on automated systems; isolate problems and perform repairs as required; design and service control systems and PLCs; analyse automation performance to ensure they meet all safety and productivity standards; prepare reports and recommend upgrades or changes to current processes; work with suppliers to develop and improve process inputs to improve quality and decrease part costs. What we require: 3 years experience Criminal Background Check A valid Ontario Electrician’s license (442A or 309A) is an asset, but not required Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or have a related trade ticket Familiar with PLC, tooling and sensors for troubleshooting Ability to read and understand electrical/electronic schematics Understanding of Lean principles Ability to design in CAD is an asset Excellent people skills Tool & Die, pay based on experience, Penetanguishene Ontario What you will be doing: Retrieve and review tooling prints for material and machining requirements; Perform all aspects of the tool/die build from the locating of material required to final assembly, try-out and adjustment of the tooling components; Responsible for performing modifications on older, existing tools and dies to maintain customer requirements; Responsible for tool and die repair as required; ISpecify dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances for assemblies and additional requirements. Preventative maintenance and trouble shooting for Tool & Die peripherals as needed.
